Sand

There i was on the crowded beach
guarding my castle of sand
admiring it while sucking on a peach
while it lasted, it felt so grand.

Dark skies brewed
and the hustle had thinned
i was still oblivious
and continued in my dream

the terrain changed
from beachy archipelago
to cold snowy terrain of grey

and there i was standing
like a deranged idiot
still lost in my dream

wake up ass hole,
the dream is gone
look up, and look down
there is no castle
its just sand
just like you
just a grain of sand.
