People create boundaries
imaginary territories
to disect, differentiate and protect

a self sustaining shell to hide
a home, abode, to sleep peacefully at night
sometimes creating,
unknowingly,
their very own plight.

you see the walls we build are hard to climb,
hard to break down
even when given losta time.

boundaries don't keep people out,
they fence you in.
you can waste your time drawing lines
or live your life crossing them.

some lines are too dangerous
sometimes you take the risk,
cross the line and view life from the other side,
and you might gain something more,
than whatever you have within.
